Alan Sepinwall always likes to point out that the TCA gave Program of the Year to the first season of Heroes over the fourth season of The Wire. This is just another example of the wrongheadedness that can even come of a group I would like to be a part of. You’d think that because they’re TV critics they must be smart enough to not fall into the clutches of Glee but you’d be wrong. They’re just as easily blinded by flashy things. You’ll come to regret this, TCA. Mark my words: you will come to regret this.
(Also, yeah, everyone loves Julianna Marguiles, but come on, it was Aaron Paul for achievement in drama all the way. Such a no-brainer. I know I just sound like this stupid Aaron Paul fangirl all the time who just wants to sleep with him or something, but if you’ve actually seen the show, you know he deserved it. I say this based on real things! And if you still think I am basing this on wanting to sleep with him, you’re an idiot.)
I’ve watched some of The Good Wife, more like The Satisfactory Wife. I see that you can laugh and cry, Juliana, but have you ever killed someone for your role? Hmm?
As for Glee I find it upsetting when they win awards, not because I dislike the show, but because it could be so much better! They have all of the parts, they just don’t know how to put those parts together into an excellent season. It’s really upsetting to see a show with so many low points beat out shows that had nearly perfect seasons.
